ボブ・ディラン（Bob Dylan、出生名：ロバート・アレン・ジマーマン（Robert Allen Zimmerman）、1941年5月24日 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国のシンガーソングライター。出生名は上記の通りだが、後に法的な本名もボブ・ディランに改名している。「ボブ」はロバートの愛称、「ディラン」は詩人ディラン・トマスにちなむ。

「風に吹かれて」「時代は変る」「ミスター・タンブリン・マン」「ライク・ア・ローリング・ストーン」「見張塔からずっと」「天国への扉」他多数の楽曲により、1962年のレコードデビュー以来半世紀以上にわたり多大なる影響を人々に与えてきた。現在でも、「ネヴァー・エンディング・ツアー」と呼ばれる年間100回ほどの公演活動を中心に活動している。

グラミー賞やアカデミー賞をはじめ数々の賞を受賞し、ロックの殿堂入りも果たしている。また長年の活動により、2012年に大統領自由勲章を受章している。そのほか、2008年にはピューリッツァー賞特別賞を、2016年には歌手としては初めてノーベル文学賞を受賞している。

Echo Star Helstrom (1942–2018) was Bob Dylan's high-school girlfriend in Hibbing, Minnesota. She met Dylan (then Bob Zimmerman) in 11th grade, and they were romantically involved for about one year. She was an influence on Dylan's development during his teen years in Hibbing, was a source for information on Dylan's early years, and may have inspired one or more of his songs.

Susan Elizabeth Rotolo (November 20, 1943 – February 25, 2011), known as Suze Rotolo ( SOO-zee), was an American artist, widely seen as Bob Dylan's girlfriend from 1961 to 1964. Dylan later acknowledged her strong influence on his music and art during that period. Rotolo is the woman walking with him on the cover of his 1963 album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, a photograph by the Columbia Records studio photographer Don Hunstein. In her book A Freewheelin' Time: A Memoir of Greenwich Village in the Sixties, Rotolo described her time with Dylan and other figures in the folk music and bohemian scene in Greenwich Village, New York. She discussed her upbringing as a "red diaper" baby; a child of Communist Party USA members during the McCarthy Era. As an artist, she specialized in artists' books and taught at the Parsons School of Design in New York City.
