Olive Byrne, de son nom de plume Olive Richard, née le 19 février 1904 et morte le 19 mai 1990, était la partenaire de William Moulton Marston et de sa femme Elizabeth Holloway. Elle a servi de modèle au personnage de Wonder Woman, créé par Marston.

William Moulton Marston (May 9, 1893 – May 2, 1947), also known by the pen name Charles Moulton (), was an American psychologist who, with his wife Elizabeth Holloway, invented an early prototype of the polygraph. He was also known as a self-help author and comic book writer who created the character Wonder Woman.

Two women, his wife Elizabeth Holloway Marston, and their polyamorous life partner, Olive Byrne, greatly influenced Wonder Woman's creation.

He was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.

Sarah Elizabeth Marston (née Holloway; February 20, 1893 – March 27, 1993) was an American attorney and psychologist. She is credited, with her husband William Moulton Marston, with the development of the systolic blood pressure measurement used to detect deception, the predecessor to the polygraph.

She is also credited as an inspiration for her husband's comic book creation Wonder Woman, along with their polyamorous life partner, Olive Byrne.
