Angela Isadora Duncan (San Francisco, 27 maggio 1877 – Nizza, 14 settembre 1927) è stata una danzatrice statunitense, considerata una tra le più significative precorritrici della cosiddetta "danza moderna", che contribuì ad avviare.

アンドレ・カプレ（もしくはキャプレ、André Caplet, 1878年11月23日 ル・アーヴル - 1925年4月22日 ヌイイ＝シュル＝セーヌ）は、フランスの作曲家・指揮者。ドビュッシーの友人で、ドビュッシーの『聖セバスティアンの殉教』と『おもちゃ箱』において作曲者のオーケストレーションを大幅に補筆したことで知られている。また、『月の光』『子供の領分』など、ドビュッシーのピアノ曲をオーケストラ用に編曲した。

Edward Henry Gordon Craig (born Edward Godwin; 16 January 1872 – 29 July 1966), was an English modernist theatre practitioner; Part of the Terry family and son of the actress Ellen Terry, he worked as an actor in his youth before becoming a director and scenic designer, and he developed an influential body of theoretical writings.

The Gordon Craig Theatre, built in Stevenage, England (the town of his birth), was named in his honour in 1975.

Although she failed to achieve artistic and professional distinction, de Acosta is known for her many lesbian affairs with celebrated Broadway and Hollywood personalities including Alla Nazimova, Isadora Duncan, Eva Le Gallienne, and Marlene Dietrich. Her best-known involvement was with Greta Garbo with whom, in 1931, she began a sporadic and volatile romance. Her 1960 memoir, Here Lies the Heart, is considered part of gay history insofar that it hints at the lesbian element in some of her relationships.

Paris Eugene Singer (20 February 1867 – 24 June 1932) was an early resident of Palm Beach, Florida. Singer was an American real estate developer and philanthropist and he was noted as being a "man of luxury".
